Most recently, she was fundraising for Campagna Center’s education and social development programs, which inspire achievement among students and families across Alexandria,VA at every educational step from cradle to career.
Carlie is a lifelong Potomac watershed resident, originating from Arlington, VA. She joined the Sailing Club of Washington in 2016 where she learned to sail on the Potomac, and now volunteers as a Skipper on the club’s 25-foot cruisers. Her favorite vacations are sailing flotillas through the DC Sailing Community, where she is a First Mate on 45-foot catamarans that have explored amazing tropical island countries like the British Virgin Islands, Seychelles and Bahamas.
When she is not out on the water, she enjoys musical theater and hopes to someday land a starring role in a local community theater production. Her favorite cocktail is a Dark & Stormy.
