Join Potomac Riverkeeper Network and our partners, Rainbow History Project and Women’s Aquatic Network for a special trip to celebrate Pride Month! Our non-profit is dedicated to fighting water pollution and promoting river access for all, and we’re excited to offer this unique opportunity to explore the Potomac River with fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies. On this kayak trip, you’ll paddle along the beautiful Potomac River, taking in the stunning scenery and enjoying the company of your fellow kayakers. Our experienced guides will lead you on a leisurely tour, pointing out local wildlife and sharing interesting facts about the river’s history and ecology. This event is open to kayakers of all skill levels, so whether you’re a seasoned pro or a beginner, we welcome you to join us! We’ll provide all necessary equipment, including kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Just bring your sense of adventure and a willingness to celebrate Pride Month in style! Single kayak: $35 - Participant Limit: 30 People
Note: Rentals are only available to adults or children 12 years and older who are accompanied by an adult.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Packed lunch
- Reusable water bottle (please no plastic bottles or glass)
- Wear proper footwear. NO FLIP-FLOPS. Old gym shoes, sandals with a strap, and water shoes work great
- Sunscreen, hat and rain gear
- Snacks and drinking water (no glass bottles)
- Change of clothes
- Dry Bag or Waterproof Container (if you bring a phone or a non-waterproof camera, you need a way to protect it)
- If you plan to fish, bring a valid fishing license for the waters you would be fishing.
