What is the Cacapon Riverfest?
Cacapon Riverfest is a two day celebration of the Cacapon River. Themed around the environment and the arts, this family-friendly festival will feature live music and entertainment, art activities, river fun, presentations and displays by local environmental groups, food, drink and social opportunities for all those who love the Cacapon River. It is organized by the Friends of the Cacapon River, a local non-profit whose mission is to preserve, protect and promote the Cacapon River.
Where will it take place?
The Cacapon Riverfest will be held at The River House. This homegrown arts and music venue is located at 24 Rickie Davy Lane in Capon Bridge, WV (theriverhousewv.org). Parking will be provided at several off-site lots, a short walk away. It is a free event but capacity is limited to 300 persons.
