Join our Upper Potomac Riverkeeper, Brent Walls, for a discussion on how, what and why we collect evidence for use in advocacy.

WATER WEDNESDAY:
Evidence in Action
Location: Online
Date: February 24
Time: 12PM – 1PM

What’s the difference between water monitoring and evidence collection?

Water quality monitoring and evidence collection are cornerstone tactics that all Riverkeepers use when protecting our rivers and streams. In this Water Wednesday, our Upper Potomac Riverkeeper, Brent Walls, will talk about water sampling and evidence collection and will dive deeper into the three reasons to collect water samples. (1) to assess the condition of a water body, (2) to educate the public or decision makers on the health of a water body, and (3) to identify the impact of pollution on a waterbody. Though not all evidence of pollution comes from a water sample, join us to find out more!

Come and learn how Potomac Riverkeeper Network uses water samples and evidence to protect our right to clean water.
