RiverPalooza–North Branch Potomac River Whitewater Float

Nestled in the heart of the Potomac Highlands is the majestic North Branch Potomac River. This raft trip offers you a spectacular adventure over continuous Class II and III rapids with waves and rollers up to six feet. Sections of calm water between rapids allow for cliff jumping, relaxation and swimming. You can select a group adventure and be a part of a guided raft, or take your chances and ride a Thrillcat, an inflatable single person kayak. After the adventure, enjoy a grilled picnic with a talk by your Upper Potomac Riverkeeper. This trip would make for an excellent getaway weekend for those that like to camp, hike and explore the outdoors. Camping and B&B’s are located in the area.
