Come and grab a bite at the famous Buddy Lou’s at their Eats and Drinks for Charity of the Month in Hancock, Maryland on October 8! Fifteen percent of the proceeds will go to your Upper Potomac Riverkeeper who protects your right to clean water for swimming, drinking and fishing!
Brent Walls, Upper Potomac Riverkeeper, will be presenting the short film, “Keeping the Potomac: The Politics of Water.” The film will be followed by a short talk about advocacy through community action.
The Buddy Lou event is the first real event to raise money in the Upper Potomac and we would love to pack the house! The owner is very excited to work with us on this event, and provide other continuing opportunities, like a dedicated menu item for PRKN. So help us pack the house and share with your friends! It is a very cool, historical place to visit — a renovated old Canal House structure right on the C&O canal and the MD Rail to Trail. It also has an antique shop downstairs and a craft store above the restaurant. Even better, the food is terrific!
Hope to see you there!
