Green & Prosperous Shenandoah River – Public Forum (Woodstock)

shenandoah river

As we all know, the Shenandoah River is the lifeblood of the Shenandoah Valley. The Potomac Riverkeeper Network and the Shenandoah Riverkeeper were recently awarded a Chesapeake Bay Trust grant and given an incredible opportunity to bring together stakeholders of the Shenandoah River and collaboratively create a shared Green and Prosperous Valley Vision along with a roadmap that lays out how we can attain the vision and support one another in achieving our common goals.

These forums are for stakeholders of all kinds to come together to share ideas, concerns, and visions for the future economic and environmental health of the Shenandoah River and its surroundings. Public officials, conservation groups, local and regional government agencies, outdoor outfitters, agricultural entities, business owners, and interested citizens are all invited to attend.

We hope you will join us!

Attendance is free and will be held in three locations up and down the Shenandoah Valley for the convenience and participation of as many people as possible.
