Potomac River Cleanup at Seneca Landing at Riley's Lock

For the 28th Annual Potomac Watershed Cleanup, Potomac Riverkeeper Network is partnering again with Canoe Cruisers Association, Seneca Creek Watershed Partners, Muddy Branch Alliance, Monocacy Canoe Club,  Blue Ridge Voyageurs, Calleva, and Alice Ferguson Foundation.

This is an on-the-water and on-the-land river cleanup at Seneca Creek at Riley's Lock. Volunteers in groups will work from boats to pick up trash from Seneca Creek and the Potomac River. One group will work on the smooth waters of Seneca Creek and may use canoes provided by Calleva. The downriver group will use their own boats and gear, and should be experienced in Class 2 rapids. All volunteers in boats are required to wear life jackets during this event. Land-based volunteers are also welcome.
